Two members of our team have prepared texts for Historický časopis, published by the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. Martin Klečacký in his article Ten Years of Searching. The Administrative Reform of 1927 and its Implementation on the District Level in Slovakia deals not only with the reform itself, but also with the heads of the districts and compares their situation with the situation in the Czech lands. George D. Lutz's paper Political representation and social transformations in Austria-Hungary. Case study: German elected deputies from Transylvania and Bohemia (1867–1918) compares the social status and social mobility of German deputies from the two provinces of the monarchy.
